2025 Edition - The Pitcher in All Its Forms

The 2025 edition of 30 Potiers sous les Halles takes place on Sunday 14 December 2025, from 9am to 6pm, under the medieval market hall of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne. Organised by the ARTIS collective, this day brings together around thirty professional ceramicists from the region and neighbouring areas.

The 2025 competition theme is "The pitcher in all its forms". Each participating potter presents a unique creation based on this theme. Three prizes will be awarded: the People's Choice Award (visitors vote and one of them wins the winning piece), the ARTIS Prize (awarded by the collective's members) and the Mayor's Prize (the Town's personal favourite).

Visitors will discover culinary, decorative and sculptural pottery made in stoneware, porcelain, raku and other techniques. Demonstrations, conversations with the artisans, crêpes, mulled wine and sweet treats will accompany this festive end-of-year celebration.

• 9am: Opening of the pottery market under the market hall
• All day: Exhibition and sale by thirty professional ceramicists
• All day: Wheel-throwing and modelling demonstrations
• All day: Themed competition "The pitcher in all its forms"
• All day: Public voting for the People's Choice Award
• Afternoon: Prize ceremony (People's Choice, ARTIS Prize, Mayor's Prize)
• 6pm: Market closes
