6th Edition — January-February 2025
The Albi Jazz Festival #6 offered a week of concerts and events from January 26 to February 1, 2025. The program explored the roots and modernity of jazz through exceptional artists: bandoneonist Louise Jallu and her quartet paying homage to Piazzolla, saxophonist Louis Sclavis with L'Orchestre Incandescent, saxophonist Géraldine Laurent accompanied by American bluesman Jontavious Willis, and the duo Leïla Martial & Valentin Ceccaldi.
The Magic Mirrors, set up on the Grand Théâtre forecourt, hosted free concerts at lunchtime and in the evening, as well as DJ sets and the daily radio broadcast by Jacq-André Nguegan. Documentary screenings, a vinyl fair, and Marion Muzac's immersive performance Blitz completed this rich and eclectic edition. The full-price pass was offered at €90.
