The seventh edition of Anthems of Steel brought together metal enthusiasts at the Théâtre Charles Trénet in Chauvigny from May 8-10, 2025, with a remarkable lineup including Misþyrming, Tankard, Mercyless, Gehennah, Kawir, Herzel, and many other bands.
2025 Edition — Anthems of Steel VII
The seventh edition of the festival confirmed the growing influence of Anthems of Steel on the French metal scene. For three days, the Théâtre Charles Trénet hosted an impressive lineup mixing thrash metal with Tankard, Icelandic black metal with Misþyrming, death metal with Mercyless and Mortuary, heavy metal with Herzel and Ambush, and many other bands. The loyal audience responded enthusiastically to celebrate the diversity of underground metal in the warm atmosphere for which the festival is renowned.
