13th Edition — The Power of Imaginations

The 2025 edition of Atlantide brought together 57 authors and artists from 25 countries for four days of intense literary encounters. Under the artistic direction of Alain Mabanckou, the festival explored themes of freedom of expression and imagination, questioning contemporary issues through the lens of world literature.

Highlights

The inaugural lecture was given by Nancy Huston, a major figure in French-language literature. The evening against censorship, organized in partnership with the French PEN Club, was dedicated to Pinar Selek, a Turkish sociologist and writer in exile. The festival offered over 60 events at Le Lieu Unique: round tables, conversations, readings aloud, and book signing sessions.
