17th Edition: Blues Travels Through the Pays d'Autan
For its 17th edition, Autan de Blues took over eight towns in the Pays d'Autan from January 30th to February 1st, 2025. The festival offered its proven format of free "aperitif-concerts" in the late afternoon followed by evening concerts in local venues.
The kickoff was on January 30th in Boissezon with Franck & Damien in a free "aperitif-concert" at the village hall, followed in the evening by Dirty Bootz at Le Rond Point in Labruguière. The duo also offered a school session dedicated to the history of blues, in partnership with ADDA du Tarn. The next day, Little Big Kat took over, while the festival's closing on February 1st was handled by Sébastopol, an atypical one-man-band bluesman, at Le Thirondel in Pont-de-Larn, followed by Muddy Gurdy at Le Tortill'Art in Saint-Amans-Soult, a unique trio blending the Auvergne hurdy-gurdy with Mississippi blues.
