Autrefois le Couserans 2024: 32nd edition, theme "The Games"
From August 1st to 4th, 2024, the 32nd edition of Autrefois le Couserans took over the streets of Saint-Girons, themed around games, echoing the Olympic year. The grand parade brought together nearly 900 participants in period costumes and 250 animals.
The edition featured demonstrations of Basque strength, sack races, archery, skittles, climbing, and horse riding. A Bal'Trad (traditional dance) opened the festivities on Thursday, August 1st, at 8:30 PM in the Place de Verdun. Fireworks, a flea market, and a craft market completed the program.
