Aux Heures d'Été — Festival of cultures from here and elsewhere

21st Edition — July 8 to August 8, 2025

The 21st edition of the Aux Heures d'Été festival set a record with 140 artists on the program, from July 8 to August 8, 2025. Concerts, shows, open-air screenings, and artistic encounters marked a month of cultural discoveries in the city center and its parks. Accessible to all and completely free, the event confirmed its place in Nantes' cultural landscape by focusing on musical diversity and showcasing emerging talents.

The program highlighted diversity, with artists from Occitania, Asia, Latin America, and the Mediterranean. Among the highlights were Bosnian accordionist Almir Meskovic and Serbian violinist Daniel Lazar in the castle moats, the Afro-Colombian energy of Aïtawa, the contemporary Occitan polyphony of Barrut, and the Japanese concert-performance by Mitsune. The festival offered five musical destinations to discover, transforming Nantes into a global stopover for the summer.
