Bastides en Fête 2024 — 1st edition
From October 25 to 27, 2024, the 1st edition of Bastides en Fête (born under the name "Fête des Bastides et du Vin en Périgord") brought together 28 bastides from Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne for three days of festivities celebrating the medieval heritage of the Southwest.
In Monpazier, the program began with a key-handing ceremony by an emissary from the Château de Biron, followed by a torchlight tour of the village accompanied by music. On Friday evening, the Place des Cornières vibrated to the rhythm of concerts. Sunday was dedicated to a gourmet market showcasing the products of the Périgord region.
