Bastides en Fête 2025 — 2nd edition
From October 24 to 26, 2025, the 2nd edition of Bastides en Fête celebrated the medieval heritage of 28 bastides in Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne. In Dordogne, eight bastides participated in the event, including Monpazier.
In Monpazier, the festivities included the 1st edition of La Monpaziéroise, a culinary competition, followed by a gourmet market on Sunday morning from 10 am. On Friday evening, the Place des Cornières came alive with concerts, and the weekend offered guided tours and heritage activities in partnership with the Château de Biron.
