Edition 2024 — Baule d'Airs
The 17th edition of the Baule d'Airs festival took place from May 17 to 19, 2024, in Baule. Around 6,000 spectators participated in this festive weekend blending brass bands, street arts, and open-air performances. The headliner was the techno brass band MEUTE, composed of 11 musicians, who electrified the audience during the closing ceremony.

17th Edition — Techno Brass Band and Open-Air Arts
The 2024 edition of Baule d'Airs brought together around 6,000 festival-goers from May 17 to 19 for a weekend of musical and artistic discoveries. Orchestrated by nearly 180 volunteers, this 17th edition confirmed the festival as a must-attend event for brass bands and street arts in Loiret.
The major headliner for this edition was MEUTE, the renowned techno brass band founded in Hamburg in 2016, consisting of 11 musicians reinterpreting electronic music classics with wind instruments and percussion. The concert, scheduled for Sunday evening, was the highlight of the festival.
Musical Program
In addition to MEUTE, the audience enjoyed numerous ensembles:
- LGMX — acoustic techno brass band
- EYO'NLÉ — fusion of Beninese rhythms and French chanson
- La De Si Banda Fiestera — Colombian sounds
- Le Spectre d'Ottokar — Balkan music
- Décibel Brass Club — brass band from Tours
- La Belle Image — Latin American orchestra of 12-13 musicians-dancers
Street Arts
On the performance side, companies took over the streets and squares of Baule with diverse offerings: Un Vache de Manège et son Orgameuh (Compagnie La Toupine) and Les Dodos (Compagnie Ekart) particularly impressed the audience.

- Friday, May 17 (7 PM - 1 AM): Opening with the Baule Music School and La De Si Banda Fiestera
- Saturday, May 18 (6 PM - 3 AM): Multiple performances, LGMX concert, collective improvisation
- Sunday, May 19: Brass band aperitif in the morning, Brass Band Agora (round table at 2 PM), shows, concerts at the Zénith (7:30 PM - 10:30 PM), MEUTE (10:30 PM - 12 AM)
