2025 Edition — Jazz Still Alive in Belfort

In November 2025, the Be Bop or Be Dead festival once again proved that jazz is a music that is more current than ever in Belfort. The Bonus Track association brought together artists from the contemporary jazz scene for concerts at Le Granit and La Poudrière over two evenings.

The two evenings of the 2025 edition offered a dive into the diversity of contemporary jazz, from bebop to avant-gardes, including improvised music and jazz-electronic fusions. The invited artists, from the French and international scenes, delivered high-caliber performances to a Belfort audience that remains loyal and enthusiastic.

A Festival Rooted in its Territory

Be Bop or Be Dead continues to play an essential role in the dissemination of jazz in the Territoire de Belfort, complementing the city's musical offerings alongside the Eurockéennes and FIMU. Thanks to the commitment of the Bonus Track association and the support of Le Granit, the national stage, the festival perpetuates an artistic standard rarely found in regional jazz festivals.
