Edition 2025 — Belledonne en Cirque
The 8th edition of the Belledonne en Cirque festival was held on July 4th and 5th, 2025, at Lake Freydières in Revel. The festival offered two days of contemporary circus shows, a circus cabaret, concerts, circus arts initiation workshops, and botanical walks, all with free and conscious pricing in an exceptional natural setting in the heart of the Belledonne massif.

2025 Edition — Two Days of Open-Air Circus
The 8th edition of the Belledonne en Cirque festival took over the shores of Lake Freydières on July 4th and 5th, 2025, continuing its mission to make circus arts accessible to all in an exceptional natural setting. The festival once again transformed this mountain space into a true open-air circus, blending professional shows, participatory workshops, and moments of conviviality.
Shows and Companies
The 2025 edition hosted several contemporary circus companies, including Compagnie La 3 et demie with a 45-minute creation blending circus, theater, and inner tubes in an absurd and poetic universe, as well as Les Cieux galvanisés, offering an acrobat solo on a Chinese pole accompanied by live music. The circus cabaret brought together several artists and acts in a festive and convivial format in the late afternoon.
Workshops and Activities
The afternoons were marked by circus arts initiation workshops open to all ages: unicycle, juggling, aerial arts, slackline, and balance. Guided botanical walks in the Belledonne massif and tree storytelling offered original ways to discover the mountain environment. Yoga sessions and outdoor watercolor workshops completed the program.
Concerts and Evening
The musical program accompanied spectators into the evening with quirky fanfares and live concerts outdoors. The traditional light crossing, an illuminated highline demonstration over the lake at dusk, once again provided a magical moment of the edition.
