The 2023 edition of the Barcelonnette Classical Music Biennial took place from August 16 to 20, 2023, offering five days of concerts and musical encounters in the heart of the Ubaye valley.

The opening evening on Wednesday, August 16, brought together the Biennial orchestra under the direction of Aurélien Pouzet-Robert for a concert evening featuring Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto with soloist Jeffrey Nau, Schumann's Cello Concerto, and Bruch's Romance for Viola.

On Thursday, August 17, a masterclass by pianist Jeffrey Nau was followed by a concert titled "From Shadow to Light" with soprano Clara Pertuy, accordionist Jan Myslikovjan, and cellist Anouk Legée. On Friday, August 18, an "Impromptu" concert in Jausiers offered a cappella pieces by the Biennial choir and Bach's Concerto for Oboe and Violin.
