Bixintxo 2025 in Ciboure
The 2025 edition of Bixintxo animated Ciboure from January 17 to 26. The official opening took place on Friday, January 17, at 6:30 PM on Rue Koxe Basurco, with the musical procession of the Tamborrada Marinelak, the Estudiantina de Ciboure, and the spectacular appearance of the giantess Aña emerging from the sea.
The opening evening continued with concerts by Kaskarot Banda, Karma, and Panda Valium, with catering provided by the APE Marinela association. The Bixintxo Trail, the black pudding contest led by the Kuxkuxtu brass band, and the fandango contest with Begiraleak punctuated the festivities.
The solemn mass animated by choirs, the honor dances, the mutxiko, and the grand traditional meal on Sunday, January 25, concluded this wonderful edition in a spirit of conviviality and Basque tradition.
