Black Wheat Threshing Festival - 2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Black Wheat Threshing Festival was held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the "Clément Besombes" Museum-Conservatory of Rural Traditions in Mauriac. Visitors could discover the museum from 10 AM and attend in the afternoon demonstrations of buckwheat threshing using traditional methods, with flails and a mechanical thresher.
The exhibition of old tractors and agricultural machinery allowed visitors to admire machines restored with passion. The refreshment stand offered bourriols and pompes grasses to the delight of food lovers.
