The 23rd edition of the Blues en Loire festival takes place from August 13 to 16, 2025, in La Charité-sur-Loire, Varennes-lès-Narcy, and Guérigny. The theme of this edition explores the African roots of the blues, from Mali to the United States, questioning what the blues owes to the African continent.
23rd Edition - Africa and the Blues
The 2025 edition of Blues en Loire will be held from August 13 to 16 in three towns in the Nièvre region: La Charité-sur-Loire, Varennes-lès-Narcy, and Guérigny. This year, the festival explores the African roots of the blues, from Mali to the United States, paying homage to the genre's origins.
