Edition 2025 — Bouche à Oreille
The 2025 edition of the Bouche à Oreille en Puisaye-Forterre festival once again brought together locals and visitors around a program combining dinner-concerts, storytelling performances, chamber music, and participatory workshops. Toucy and its surroundings vibrated for a week to the rhythm of oral arts and the flavors of the Burgundian terroir, in an intimate and warm festive atmosphere.

2025 Edition — Arts of Orality and Flavors of Puisaye
The 2025 edition of the Bouche à Oreille en Puisaye-Forterre festival has once again confirmed the event's place in the region's cultural life. For a week, Toucy transformed into an open-air stage where storytellers, musicians, chefs, and taste artisans crossed paths.
Dinner-Concerts and Local Gastronomy
True to its emblematic formula, the festival offered dinner-concerts every evening in partner restaurants in Toucy. Traditional Puisaye recipes — Burgundy snails, local cheeses, wines from Tonnerre — accompanied intimate jazz and chamber music concerts in warmly decorated venues. The preparation and tasting of artisanal troussepinette were also a hit during the weekend's participatory workshops.
Outdoor Storytelling Performances
The storytelling program was one of the highlights of this edition. Professional storytellers took over the squares and alleys of Toucy's historic center for free sessions open to all, young and old. The tales drew from the legends and oral traditions of Burgundy — fairies, werewolves, and white ladies of Puisaye — as well as from repertoires from further afield.
Exhibitions and Daytime Activities
During the day, visual arts exhibitions and screenings of musical films took place in Toucy's heritage sites. Workshops on sourdough bread and jam making, led by local producers, were a great success with families and curious visitors seeking authenticity.
