Edition 2023 — Burning Mane
First edition of Burning Mane en Provence, organized by the newly created association Dérapage Contrôlé. First Edition - June 2023
The very first edition of Burning Mane en Provence took place in June 2023, realizing the dream of a collective of Mane residents united within the association Dérapage Contrôlé, founded a few months earlier in January 2023. This foundational event laid the groundwork for a festival with a free and participatory spirit, inspired by the philosophy of Burning Man.
For this inaugural edition, about ten artists from local and regional scenes offered street theater performances, participatory installations, ephemeral creations, and outdoor concerts in the village of Mane. The event created a true moment of sharing between artists and residents, true to the festival's editorial line: Humor, Poetry, and Decadence.
