Easter Parade 2024 - Cinema Theme
The 2024 edition of the Easter Parade of Les Aix-d'Angillon took place on the weekend of March 30 and 31, 2024, marking the return of spring in the Cher department. The chosen theme this year was "Cinema", inspiring the float creators who competed in imagination to evoke cult films, cartoon heroes, and cinematic universes. On Sunday, March 31, Easter Day, the parade brought together nearly 15 decorated floats from Les Aix-d'Angillon and neighboring communes (Sainte-Solange, Menetou-Salon, Barlieu, etc.).
The parade, accompanied by three brass bands and majorette groups, traveled through the village streets to the applause of over 3,000 spectators. The weekend also featured a gourmet market with local producers (goat cheeses, Sancerre wines, charcuterie), fairground rides for children, and a popular dance on Saturday evening. The festive and friendly atmosphere delighted the many families who came to enjoy this Berry Easter tradition.
