41st edition: the Big Festival

The 41st edition of the Cahors Blues Festival took place from July 12 to 15, 2023. Nicknamed “the Big Festival”, this edition was marked by an exceptional partnership with the Big Blues Bender from Las Vegas.

Wednesday, July 12

Semi-finals of the Mississippi Blues Trail Challenge with eight artists and bands in formats ranging from solo to quintet. Blues dans la Ville in the evening in participating restaurants and bars.

Thursday, July 13

Erik Edwards and White Feet (Nasser Ben Dadoo) on the Village stage, followed by the final of the Mississippi Blues Trail Challenge and Swing Machine Band with singer Teeny Tucker on the main stage.

Friday, July 14

Slim Paul, The Cinelli Brothers (finalists of the International Blues Challenge 2023) and Joe Louis Walker, one of the best representatives of Chicago Blues.

Saturday, July 15

Big Blues Bender Night” evening with the Big Blues Bender Brass Band, Jimmy Carpenter Band, and renowned soloists: Mike Zito, Bob Margolin, Bob Corritore, Terrie Odabi, and Nick Schnebelen.
