Edition 2025 — Candé Carnival

78th edition of the Candé Carnival. Daytime parade on Sunday, April 20th, with 10 floats, 7 dance groups, and 3 brass bands. Night parade on Wednesday, April 30th, with illuminated floats and the burning of Monsieur Carnaval.

78th Candé Carnival

The 78th Candé Carnival took place in April 2025 with the daytime parade on Sunday, April 20th and the night parade on Wednesday, April 30th. Ten floats, 7 dance groups, 3 brass bands, and 3 carnival queens animated the streets of Candé in a festive atmosphere, with the traditional burning of Monsieur Carnaval to close the event.

Programme

Sunday, April 20th - Daytime Parade

  • 2:30 PM: Parade in the town center
  • 10 decorated floats, 7 dance groups, 3 brass bands
  • 3 carnival queens
  • Funfair

Wednesday, April 30th - Night Parade

  • 8:30 PM: Night parade from Boulevard de l'Erdre to Place Saint-Nicolas
  • Illuminated floats, dancers, brass bands
  • Burning of Monsieur Carnaval
