69th Edition - Aliens Invade Albi
The Carnival of Albi 2025 dedicated its 69th edition to the theme of aliens, transforming the city center streets into a parade of creatures from elsewhere. From February 23rd to March 2nd, young and old celebrated this unmissable popular festival.
The first major parade on February 23rd featured monumental floats, bands, and costumed groups from Boulevard du Lude to Place du Vigan. The children's carnival, on Wednesday, February 26th, brought together nearly a thousand children dressed as little aliens, parading through the city center to the sound of Occitan music before heading to Place Sainte-Cécile. The second major parade on March 2nd concluded the 69th edition with a confetti battle and a pyrotechnic show on Place du Vigan, under the amazed gaze of a large family audience.
