The 2025 edition of the Dunkirk Carnival took place from January to April, with the Trois Joyeuses from March 2nd to 4th. The traditional herring toss from the Town Hall balcony gathered tens of thousands of carnival-goers.

Dunkirk Carnival 2025
The Dunkirk Carnival 2025 animated the corsair city from January to April. The Trois Joyeuses, the highlight of the carnival season, took place from March 2nd to 4th, 2025. The traditional toss of 450 kg of herrings from the Town Hall balcony once again gathered a huge crowd on Place Jean Bart.
