Carnival 2024: Three Months of Carnival Madness
The Carnaval de Lavelanet 2024 animated the streets of the town for three months, from January to the end of March. Every weekend, the Fécos paraded through the city center with their fanfares, floats, and spectacular costumes, perpetuating a five-century-old tradition.
The three daily parades—11 am, 4:30 pm, and 10 pm—allowed all audiences to enjoy the festivities, from families in the morning to party-goers at night. The diversity of themes and the creativity of the bands once again made Lavelanet and the entire Pays d'Olmes proud.
