Edition 2025 — Carnaval de Prats-de-Mollo
The 2025 Carnival and Bear Festival in Prats-de-Mollo were held at the end of February with the traditional bear chases, costume balls, and carnival festivities in the medieval streets.
Carnaval de Prats-de-Mollo 2025
The 2025 edition of the Carnaval de Prats-de-Mollo saw bears roam the medieval alleys of the village, chased by hunters and barbers in an ancestral ritual inscribed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Costume balls, farandoles, and carnival festivities enlivened the village of Haut-Vallespir.
