Carnival 2025 - Saint-Jean-de-Monts celebrates
The Carnival of Saint-Jean-de-Monts once again kept its promise of celebration and colors for its 2025 edition. On a beautiful early March day, the grand float parade crossed the main streets of the Vendée seaside resort to the cheers of several thousand spectators who came with family, friends, or alone to participate in this unmissable popular festival.
The local associations, who work for many weeks to design and build their floats, once again presented inventive and colorful creations, a testament to the talent and commitment of these passionate volunteers. The brass bands injected their infectious energy into the procession, drawing spectators and participants into a collective and joyful dance.
The burning of King Carnival ceremony concluded the festivities in an atmosphere mixing laughter, light nostalgia, and the joy of renewal. Under the flames of the symbolic pyre, winter officially retreated to make way for the promises of the Vendée spring.
