Boarding for the Blue Planet
The 35th edition of the Carnival of Marseille was held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 on the Old Port. The theme 'Boarding for the Blue Planet' immersed spectators in a maritime odyssey where the color blue was omnipresent, from costumes to floats and face painting.
Among the 400 participants in the procession were 85 street artists, 80 dancers, 65 musicians, and 80 volunteer dancers from several Marseille dance schools — Zik & Zen, Dance Life, Marseille Jump Rock, and KLS Danse. The parade started at 2:30 PM at the Criée on Quai de Rive-Neuve, crossed the Quai de la Fraternité and then Quai du Port, concluding with a spectacular grand blue finale. Face painting stands were available from 1:30 PM at Place Bargemon.

- 1:30 PM: Free face painting at Place Bargemon
- 2:30 PM: Procession starts at La Criée (Quai de Rive-Neuve)
- 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM: Passage Quai de la Fraternité
- 3:45 PM - 4:30 PM: Passage Quai du Port
- Grand blue finale at the end of the procession
