Carnival of Sens 2025: Parade, Music, and Magic in the Heart of the City
On Saturday, March 15, 2025, the city of Sens vibrated to the rhythm of its grand carnival. Starting at 3:00 PM, the colorful procession set off from Place de la République to cross the streets of the historic center, welcomed by a crowd of spectators who came with family or friends to admire the most creative costumes.
The Sambala 89 orchestra ignited the atmosphere with its percussion and samba rhythms, transforming the parade into a true sonic celebration. The Actafabula company completed the program with theatrical and artistic performances, adding a touch of magic and live spectacle to the event.
Before the parade, the downtown merchants of Sens mobilized to offer free makeup sessions at Place de la République, allowing everyone—young and old—to sport a carnival face before joining the procession.
