First Cavalcade de Meyenheim — January 24, 2026

On Saturday, January 24, 2026, the association Les Giffala Klikka organized the very first Cavalcade de Meyenheim, thus opening the Alsatian carnival season. Nearly 400 carnival-goers paraded through the village streets, fueled by the energy of 15 groups from all over the Haut-Rhin region.

Among the highlights, the impressive 30-meter float from D'Sultzmatter Riwerla Putzer from Soultzmatt and the Haxa Gugga from Rouffach left a lasting impression. The start at 2:13 PM, a symbolic time in memory of BA 132, launched a colorful and musical procession that captivated the many spectators gathered along the route.
