30th Edition of the Riedisheim Carnival

The 2026 edition marked the 30th anniversary of the Riedisheim Carnival, celebrated on January 31st and February 1st.

On Saturday, January 31st, the children's parade started at 2:32 PM from the Munderkingen esplanade, accompanied by a costume contest with online voting via Facebook. The Guggen Musik played under the covered area at 3:32 PM, followed by a dance party for children from 4:02 PM to 5:02 PM. In the evening, "Le Before du Carnaval" welcomed partygoers from 7:32 PM with the Élégance Music Orchestra and the Lustige Klique de Riedisheim, accompanied by a festive meal.

On Sunday, February 1st, the grand parade set off at 2:32 PM from Rue d'Alsace-Gambetta with about thirty groups — decorated floats, Waggis, Guggen Musik, and costumed groups. The Guggen Musik performances continued from 3:47 PM to 5:32 PM, before the closing ceremony at 6:02 PM.
