The 5th edition of Chants Libres in Autun offered over 70 concerts and musical moments from June 27 to 29, 2025, all free of charge.
Highlights
The ensemble Les Métaboles, directed by Léo Warynski, presented 'Singing Ravel' at the Hexagone hall. Five local amateur choirs — Chorustodunum, La Petite Cantate, Divertimento, La Chorale de la Cathédrale, and L'Aubade — offered a musical walk through the city center on Saturday afternoon, blending repertoire from baroque, classical, and contemporary music, film scores, and French popular songs.
The concert by Les Métaboles at the Saint-Lazare Cathedral was the highlight of this edition, held within the majestic setting of one of Burgundy's most beautiful Romanesque edifices.
