Edition 2025 — Chap à Chap

2025 edition of the Chap à Chap festival in Saint-Pierre-d'Allevard. Four days of street performances, circus, theater, and music under tents and in the open air in the Grésivaudan valley. More than 20 shows, concert evenings, workshops for children, and fairground attractions at free pricing.

2025 Edition: Escape!

The Chap à Chap festival returned to Saint-Pierre-d'Allevard from July 10 to 13, 2025, for a new edition focused on escape and conviviality. For four days, the town center and its surroundings were transformed into a vast playground of festivities and live performance, welcoming professional companies and music groups from across the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and beyond.

The program featured more than twenty shows in the streets and under tents: contemporary circus, burlesque theater, clowning, puppetry, magic, and itinerant performances took over the village squares and alleys. Young audiences enjoyed dedicated shows and artistic discovery workshops — circus initiation, visual arts, and fairground games — led by professional artists.

The evenings were marked by two eclectic concerts featuring about ten musical groups with varied styles: gypsy jazz, swing, afro-funk, French chanson, and world music. The festival also offered an artisan market, a catering area with local products, and a friendly campsite for festival-goers coming from afar.

True to its philosophy of accessibility, the entire program was offered at free and conscious pricing, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the festival.
