Christmas Market of Brinon-sur-Sauldre

2024 Edition - November 30th and December 1st

The 2024 Christmas Market of Brinon-sur-Sauldre took place on November 30th and December 1st at the Salle Jean Boinvilliers, attracting over 3,500 visitors who came to celebrate the start of Advent in Sologne. About fifty local artisan and producer exhibitors offered handmade Christmas decorations, ceramics, jewelry, gastronomic products (foie gras, Sologne game, honey, jams), and original gift ideas. The warm atmosphere of the hall, decorated with garlands, illuminated fir trees, and a traditional nativity scene, delighted visitors.

The gospel concert on Saturday at 5:00 PM in the Saint-Barthélemy Church gathered over 200 people moved by the Christmas carols performed with fervor. Santa Claus visited the children throughout the weekend, distributing treats and kindly listening to their wishes. The creative workshops (making Advent wreaths, greeting cards) were a great success. On Sunday, the fireworks display lit up the sky of Brinon-sur-Sauldre under the applause of the gathered families. Mulled wine, oysters, and grilled chestnuts delighted food lovers in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
