Edition 2026 — Classicaval
32nd edition: Bruno Fontaine and Pierre Génisson honored
For its 32nd edition, Classicaval welcomes two major figures from the French music scene. Bruno Fontaine, a pianist and composer who has collaborated with artists as diverse as Barbara and Michel Portal, brings his unique sensitivity to the festival. Pierre Génisson, a virtuoso clarinettist, completes a top-tier lineup.
Opus 1 takes place from January 12 to 15, and Opus 2 from March 9 to 13, 2026. The concerts, scheduled for 6:30 PM and lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes without intermission, are held in the Val-d'Isère church and in unusual venues in the resort, perpetuating the spirit of sharing and discovery dear to founder Jean Reizine.
