Cohue Festival

First Edition of Cohue! — May to October 2025

The first official edition of the Cohue! festival lived up to all expectations. Driven by the Stoncca Live association, it offered four exclusive concerts within the Marché Couvert de Tonnerre, this wrought-iron hall listed as 20th-century heritage, transformed for the occasion into an intimate and friendly concert venue.

The Four Concerts of the 2025 Edition

• May 22, 2025 — Danyl + Stony Stone: Opening with a bang featuring Danyl, a Franco-Algerian artist blending rai and contemporary music in a universe called Khedma. Alongside him, Stony Stone, a rapper from Marseille noticed by Booska-P. The evening opened with Emma Politi, a young local artist from Tonnerre, as the opening act. Prices starting from EUR 15.
• June 12, 2025 — Ycare: The renowned singer-songwriter, known for his sharp lyrics and distinctive voice, presented his album of exceptional duets with Slimane, Patrick Bruel, Claudio Capéo, Mentissa, Garou, Gauvain Sers, and Adamo. An intimate and moving concert in the setting of the covered market.
• September 4, 2025 — Alain Chamfort: A living legend of French chanson, a collaborator of Serge Gainsbourg and author of timeless classics like "Manureva" and "Bambou", offered an evening of elegance and nostalgia to the Tonnerre audience. A rare booking for a rural area, demonstrating Cohue!'s ambition.
• October 2, 2025 — "Come as you are", a tribute to Kurt Cobain: Closing the season, an evening paying tribute to the founder of Nirvana with Béatrice Dalle (narrator), Youv Dee, and Bastien Burger. This show, co-produced with Le Silex d'Auxerre, mixed rock, rap, and spoken word to revive the spirit of the Seattle Sound.

Each evening was preceded by doors opening at 7:00 PM, with a pop-up bar and on-site catering fostering conviviality among spectators.
