Concerts Baroques à la Cour des Prés

2024 Edition: Music and Heritage in Thiérache

The 2024 edition of the Concerts Baroques à la Cour des Prés took place on the last weekend of August, offering baroque and classical music concerts in the exceptional setting of the fortified manor of Rumigny and neighboring churches. The invited musicians filled the intimate acoustics of these centuries-old buildings with the works of the great masters.

The candlelit dinners in the manor's grand Renaissance hall extended each musical evening, offering guests a moment of gastronomy and conviviality around the monumental sculpted fireplace from the 16th century. The estate's owners shared with their guests the history of this residence that has remained in the same family for nearly five centuries.

• Friday evening: Baroque music concert at the Church of Rumigny, followed by a candlelit supper at the manor
