Edition 2025 — Confolens Festival
67th edition of the Confolens Festival, from August 11 to 17, 2025. More than 450 artists from 11 countries and 14 international groups animated the Charente town for a week. Colombia was the guest of honor for this edition, with a program highlighting the richness of Colombian traditional cultures and customs. Among the invited groups was the Taiwanese folk dance group Fei-Yang. The Balilo children's festival offered shows with artists from Burundi, China, and Costa Rica. Approximately 50,000 festival-goers attended this 67th edition.

The 67th edition of the Confolens Festival took place from August 11 to 17, 2025, welcoming over 450 artists from 11 countries through 14 international groups. Under the presidency of Christine Coursaget, the festival once again allowed tens of thousands of visitors to "travel without flying," as the saying goes.
Colombia, guest of honor
The 2025 edition highlighted Colombia, bringing festival-goers together around Colombian traditional folklore culture and customs. Among the highlights, the Taiwanese folk dance group Fei-Yang, recognized as one of Taiwan's top ensembles, made a strong impression with the quality of its performances.
Children's program and cultural diversity
The Balilo Festival, the festival's youth segment, offered an international program with artists from Burundi, China, and Costa Rica, providing children with a fun and colorful discovery of world cultures. Street entertainment, dance workshops, and the international village completed this week of festivities.
