34th Contes et Rencontres Festival - 2025 Edition
The 34th edition of the Contes et Rencontres festival took place from February 8 to 22, 2025 throughout Lozère. The festival offered 35 performances by 12 touring artists in the rural foyers and municipal halls of the department.
The opening took place on Saturday, February 8, at La Genette Verte in Florac with the show La Trouée, road-trip rural by Compagnie Le Compost. Among the programmed artists were Daniel L'Homond with L'Accent Fantôme, Florant Mercadier with De Chez Moi à Chez Moi, as well as numerous storytellers and actors exploring the boundaries of storytelling, theater, and music.
The closing took place on Saturday, February 22, at the Maison de la Terre de Peyre in Aumont-Aubrac, with a bookstore in partnership with La Livreraie starting at 5:30 PM, followed at 6:30 PM by the show La clé suspendue, Alégrie – une enfance by storyteller Marie Tomas.
