36th Contes et Rencontres Festival - 2024 Edition
The 36th edition of the Contes et Rencontres Festival took place from November 8 to December 8, 2024, in the villages of the Baronnies and Haut Vaucluse. Among the invited storytellers, Monsieur Mouch presented “L'affaire du Grand Méchant Loup” (The Case of the Big Bad Wolf), revisiting the trial of the wolf from the Little Red Riding Hood story, while Ladji Diallo offered “Maliroots,” a journey to his ancestral land in Mali. Malika Verlaguet told “Contes d'aici, contes d'ailà, contes nomades” (Stories from here, stories from there, nomadic stories), tales rooted and traveling.
