Coulanges-sur-Yonne Patronal Festival

2025 Edition - August 13th to 15th

The patronal festival of Coulanges-sur-Yonne was held from August 13th to 15th, 2025. Three days of popular festivities animated the village by the Yonne River with a rich program combining tradition and conviviality.

Program for the 2025 Edition

• Saturday, August 13th: opening of the funfair and concert at the guinguette
• Sunday, August 14th: concert at the guinguette, fanfare torchlight procession (9:45 PM), fireworks at the rugby field (10:30 PM)
• Monday, August 15th: buttered bread and refreshments at the leisure center (10 AM), children's jousts (10:30 AM), jousters' parade (1:15 PM), Great Yonne/Nièvre Nautical Jousts (2 PM), award ceremony at the town hall (8 PM), concert at the guinguette

The Nautical Jousts, Highlight of the Festival

The Great Nautical Jousts gathered many spectators on the banks of the Yonne. The final pitting the teams from Yonne and Nièvre against each other lived up to expectations, in a sporting and festive atmosphere typical of this Burgundian tradition.
