23rd edition: five days of celebration for the first time

For its 23rd edition, the Culture Bar-Bars festival reached a new milestone by extending for the first time to five days, from Wednesday, November 26th, to Sunday, November 30th, 2025. This unprecedented format allowed for an increase in artistic offerings and gave festival-goers more time to explore the bars in their city.

In Nantes, the collective's birthplace, nearly a hundred establishments participated in the event. Le Chat Noir, an emblematic concert café in the Commerce district, offered nine events from November 26th to 29th, including concerts and an exhibition. Le Feu Bar hosted the band Val Que Dalle and their disco-punk energy on November 27th. Le Zygo Bar, on Rue des Olivettes, programmed four concerts over four nights, ranging from blues and folk-blues to hip-hop. Les Fleurs du Malt featured slam, hip-hop, jazz, metal, and punk from November 27th to 29th.

Nationally, this XXL edition brought together 3,000 artists, 636 events in 230 venues across 70 cities, attracting over 160,000 festival-goers.
