Edition 2025 — Culturissimo
The 12th edition of the Culturissimo festival offered over 100 free events across France from spring to summer 2025. In Orléans, writer Gaël Faye, winner of the Prix Renaudot for his novel Jacaranda, gave a musical reading at the Palais des Congrès CO'MET on May 23, 2025, accompanied by Samuel Kamanzi. The national program also included an original creation "Ensemble — Patti Smith x Rimbaud" with Sandrine Bonnaire and Érik Truffaz.

The 12th edition of the Culturissimo festival unfolded with an ambitious program featuring over 100 free events across France, including overseas territories.
In Orléans
On Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Palais des Congrès CO'MET, writer Gaël Faye and musician Samuel Kamanzi presented a musical reading of the novel Jacaranda, winner of the Prix Renaudot. This powerful work explores the post-genocide history of Rwanda through four generations, following the characters Milan and Stella under the shade of the jacaranda tree, their favorite, on the shores of Lake Kivu.
Flagship Creation
The 2025 edition was marked by the original creation "Ensemble — Patti Smith x Rimbaud", bringing together actress Sandrine Bonnaire and trumpeter Érik Truffaz in a performance celebrating two rebellious and visionary voices: Arthur Rimbaud and Patti Smith.
Artists and Writers
About fifty artists participated in this edition, including David Foenkinos, Philippe Besson, Miguel Bonnefoy, Mélissa Da Costa, Philippe Collin, Agnès Martin-Lugand, Julie Depardieu, Nicole Garcia, Clotilde Courau, and Thibault Cauvin.
"Ateliers du bac"
The educational component offered thirty voice reading sessions led by professional actors to assist high school students in preparing for the oral French exam.
