81st anniversary of the Landings
The 2025 edition of the D-Day Festival commemorated the 81st anniversary of the Allied landings of June 6, 1944. For two weeks, the Norman beaches hosted historical reenactments, spectacular parachute drops in Sainte-Mère-Église, parades of vintage military vehicles, concerts with 1940s sounds, and moving official ceremonies.
