Edition 2025 — Jardins de William Christie
The 14th edition of the Dans les Jardins de William Christie festival celebrated the maestro's 80th birthday with an exceptional program: the operas Les Arts florissants and La Descente d'Orphée aux Enfers by Charpentier, Harmonia sacra by Purcell, Blow, and Locke, as well as works by Schein, Mozart, and Beethoven.

2025 Edition — William Christie's 80th Birthday
For its 14th edition, the festival paid tribute to its founder on the occasion of his 80th birthday. The opening featured a double program dedicated to Marc-Antoine Charpentier: the opera Les Arts florissants and La Descente d'Orphée aux Enfers, performed by the ten new laureates of Le Jardin des Voix. The program Harmonia sacra revealed 17th-century English spiritual arias by Purcell, Blow, and Locke. Afternoons in the gardens enchanted the audience with musical walks, workshops, and candlelit meditations.
