Edition 2023 — Déclic Écologique
The 2nd edition of Déclic Écologique took place on April 1 and 2, 2023, at the Espace Béraire in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, attracting over 1,600 visitors. 2nd Edition of Déclic Écologique — April 1 and 2, 2023
The second edition of Déclic Écologique was a great success on April 1 and 2, 2023, attracting over 1,600 visitors to the Espace Béraire in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin. This figure confirmed the enthusiasm of residents in the Orléans metropolitan area for this spring event focused on ecological transition.
The program featured an educational farm that delighted children, workshops for building birdhouses from wood scraps, the creation of insect hotels, composting demonstrations, and an exploration of the world of earthworms for the younger ones. Visitors could also discover lesser-known species like osmia bees (wild bees).
Thematic conferences addressed topics such as fluctuations in the Loire River's water level and local environmental issues. Mayor Valérie Barthe Cheneau announced the intention to strengthen thematic conferences in future editions to deepen residents' awareness.
