Déclic — Ecological Festival

3rd Edition of Déclic Écologique — April 6 and 7, 2024

The third edition of Déclic Écologique was held on April 6 and 7, 2024, at the Espace Béraire in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, with a significantly expanded program compared to previous editions.

Saturday, April 6

Saturday was marked by highlights: at 10 am, the screening of Cyril Dion's film "Animal", followed by a debate on biodiversity. In the afternoon, a presentation by an wildlife photographer at 2 pm preceded a discussion on the Saint-Mesmin Nature Reserve at 3:30 pm. The day concluded with a conference on the green cemetery at 5 pm.

Sunday, April 7

Sunday began with a junior workshop on carbon reduction at 10 am and a nature outing to discover the spring flora and birds along the Loire. At 2 pm, a biodiversity workshop was offered, before the main show of this edition: the "Déchet'circus" by the company Hors les rangs at 3 pm, a burlesque and spectacular demonstration of waste sorting by two quirky sanitation workers, suitable for ages 3 and up.

Ongoing throughout both days: sowing and repotting workshops, building insect shelters, bicycle repair and engraving, games on environment and recycling, eco-responsible sales stands, and food trucks.
