EHZ 2025 - Lurraren Herritmoa
The 2025 edition of the Euskal Herria Zuzenean festival took place from June 27 to 29 in Arbérats-Sillègue (Arberatze), in Amikuze. Under the theme 'Lurraren Herritmoa' (The rhythm of the earth), the festival offered three days of popular celebration mixing concerts, debates, and cultural activities.
The musical program notably featured Maskak (Basque rock), Radio Byzance (electronic explorations), W!zard (punk), and Queer Falafel (mixed rhythms). During the day, the village square hosted numerous activities: circus, acoustic concerts, children's area, theater, dance, as well as conferences and round tables on themes related to the future of the Basque Country.
The traditional zikiro, a collective peasant meal, brought festival-goers together on Sunday in a warm and fraternal atmosphere.
