Edition 2025 — En Direct de l'Histoire
The 4th edition of En Direct de l'Histoire! took place from July 5 to August 24, 2025, at the Château de Meung-sur-Loire. The event highlighted the Musketeers in echo of the 400th anniversary of the publication of The Three Musketeers. Visitors discovered the Dragon Land with its 14-meter giant basilisk, the Knight's Trail in the trees, swashbuckling shows, and the interactive Anne Mésia investigation on mobile app.

2025 Edition - Musketeers in the Spotlight
The fourth edition of En Direct de l'Histoire ! was held from July 5 to August 24, 2025, at the Château de Meung-sur-Loire, celebrating the historical link between the castle and Alexandre Dumas' novel The Three Musketeers.
A highlight of this edition, the Dragon Land showcased a fantastic bestiary of animatronic automatons, from a small wyvern to a 14-meter-long giant basilisk, referencing the legend of Saint Liphard slaying the dragon of Meung. The Musketeers' swashbuckling show was performed daily at the Orangery.
The Knight's Trail offered an aerial adventure in the park's trees with suspended nets, 3 giant trampolines, and 6 agility workshops. The Anne Mésia investigation, a free mobile app adventure game lasting about 45 minutes, allowed visitors to explore the castle in a different way.
The mini-farm and the free-access ancient games completed this family summer program in the exceptional setting of the castle grounds.

- Musketeers Show: daily at the Orangery at 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, and 4:30 PM (30 min, starting July 8)
- Dragon Land: fantastic automaton trail (closes 20 min before the castle)

- Meet the characters: Marie the cook, Bonifet the valet, the castle doctor
- Anne Mésia Investigation: mobile app adventure game (~45 min, free)
- Ancient games: Trou Madame, tic-tac-toe, skittles, ring toss, free access
- Mini-farm: Toy goats, chickens, sheep, donkey
- Castle tour: 25 rooms from the attic to the dungeons
