Edition 2025 — Entrevues Belfort
The 40th edition of Entrevues was held from November 17 to 23, 2025, in Belfort. This anniversary was celebrated with an exceptional program: a tribute to the Larrieu brothers with Mathieu Amalric, an RKO retrospective, an international competition featuring films from ten countries, and a thematic program dedicated to friendship in cinema. 40th edition — November 2025, forty years of cinematic boldness
The 40th edition of Entrevues Belfort lived up to all expectations from November 17 to 23, 2025. A true celebration of four decades of discovery and risk-taking, this anniversary edition brought together filmmakers, professionals, and cinephiles for an exceptional program.
The International Competition
Ten short or medium-length films and ten feature films new to France competed in the International Competition. The films came from the United States, Canada, Italy, Spain, Georgia, and Ivory Coast, illustrating the festival's global reach. The juries awarded the most daring and personal films.
Tribute to the Larrieu Brothers
The "La Fabbrica" section honored Arnaud and Jean-Marie Larrieu, French filmmakers with a unique career path. With the presence of actor Mathieu Amalric, this retrospective of their early short films to their latest feature Le Roman de Jim was one of the festival's highlights.
The RKO Retrospective
A thematic retrospective of the American studio RKO Pictures allowed for a rediscovery of restored Hollywood classics, with screenings of rare films in beautifully preserved original prints.
