Edition 2025 — JEP Haute-Loire

The 42nd edition of the European Heritage Days, themed "Architectural Heritage," was held on September 20 and 21, 2025, in Le Puy-en-Velay and Haute-Loire. The Crozatier Museum offered free admission, including the exhibition JAPAN, Archipelago of Arts. The cathedral cloister and the Haute-Loire prefecture opened their doors for exceptional visits. Family activities, children's workshops, and heritage escape games completed the program.

42nd edition - Architectural Heritage

The 2025 edition of the JEP in Le Puy-en-Velay and Haute-Loire focused on the national theme "Architectural Heritage", highlighting the artistic and technical achievements of architecture through the centuries.

Crozatier Museum

The Crozatier Museum offered free admission on Saturday, September 20, and Sunday, September 21, from 10 am to 6 pm, providing access to all its galleries as well as the temporary exhibition JAPAN, Archipelago of Arts. The Pays d'art et d'histoire of the Agglomeration of Le Puy-en-Velay offered events celebrating the various heritages of the territory.

Prefecture of Haute-Loire

Exceptional guided tours of the Prefecture of Haute-Loire were offered on Saturday, September 20, at 9 am and 10:30 am, allowing visitors to discover this official state building, its history, its architecture, its official lounges, and its gardens.

Cathedral and cloister

The cloister of the Le Puy-en-Velay Cathedral and the lower room of the Machicoulis building once again opened their doors for free, continuing the JEP tradition at this UNESCO-listed site.

Family activities

This 42nd edition also offered fun family activities: children's workshops, family tours, and heritage escape games, making the event accessible and attractive to all audiences.
